Our Rescue Dogs

At Herd U Needed A Home Rescue, we are dedicated to finding loving homes for our rescue dogs. Each dog has a unique story and a special place in our hearts. We believe in providing detailed care and attention to every dog that comes into our rescue.

While we specialize in herding breeds such as border collies, heelers, Australian shepherds, and McNabs, we also rescue and care for other breeds in need. Every dog in our care receives medical attention, training, and socialization to prepare them for their forever homes.

Because it is very important that each dog be matched with the right home, we need to know some background information about you and your living situation. Be sure to contact all of your references and let them know that we will be calling and asking questions about your ability to care for the dog in question. To speed up the process please, please ensure that your references are expecting our call and that their number is correct.

Once your application has been reviewed and approved, we can set up a “meet and greet” with the dog(s) of your choice. If you do not hear back from us within two working days (M-F) please contact us to make sure that we received your application.
