About Rescue to Rescue Transfers
If you are a rescue partner who is transferring ownership of a dog, or dogs, to our rescue, please fill out the Shelter to Shelter transfer form. We need this form completed before we take possession of the dog(s). If you need to reach us about additional rescue to rescue transfer information, please email hunahsurrenders@gmail.com.

Please complete the Shelter to Shelter Transfer Form below. This is an online form and once submitted will be sent directly to HUNAH.
​If you do not hear back from us within 3-5 working days (M-F), please contact us at the above noted email to make sure that we received your application. Please keep in mind that we are all volunteers and do our best to act quickly. Please feel free to reach out if you are concerned.

What happens now?
Our Executive Director, Flora, will review your transfer application and will reach out to you by phone or email. Please ensure you provide both a valid phone number and email address and as much information about the dog(s) as is possible.

How long will this process take?
The process for a rescue to rescue transfer takes some time as we need to find a Foster Home for this dog first. This can happen quite quickly at times, or it can also takes months if the waiting list is long and we have other rescues that need to be placed.
